HBIU is proud to be a fully registered University and Religious Institution. Under Florida Statute 1005.6 (1)(f) and Rule 6E-5.001 HBIU is recognized as an Independent Educational Organization given the right to offer educational programs and grant degrees in all of the following professional and vocational categories and more: Ministry, Counseling, Theology, Divinity, Education, Administration, Music, Fine Arts, Media, Communications, and Social Work. We are approved to grant Arts and Science Degrees on all levels such as Associate (A.A. & A.S.), Bachelor ( B.A. & B.S.), Master (M.A. & M.S.), and Doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D). All of our programs are based on Religious and Professional Studies perspectives.
All of our programs are consistent with commission standards and we are committed to excellence and high quality in educational service.

Heart Bible Institute is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit we are also connected to another 501(c)(3) chartered and governed by a Board of Directors.
Strong Christian values and moral is the standards we adhere to and under no circumstances will we compromise our Christian values and principles. We believe education in all areas should be centered around biblical beliefs. Science and Arts are needed in the Christian community but from a biblical perspective and that is what our Faith Base Community offers.

We at HBIU do believe in building levels of accountability that can help us maintain excellence in education. We have chosen to partner with FSDERS an organization that works with religious institutions that establish assessment and evaluation standards.
Life Experience
All degrees at our college are earned degrees achieved by completing mandatory coursework. Our courses are available to everyone who meets our entrance requirements. Our courses require comprehensive study and self-discipline for those looking to earn online degrees. College transcripts do not always reflect real-life experiences. Our college recognizes life experiences that may have been gained through years of ministry-related work. Many people have served in ministry positions and have gained substantial knowledge and experience in their fields, but do not have any formal certificate, diploma, or degree, we also provide accelerated courses. Life experience credits can give some of the recognition needed. Applicants must have had more than five years in a recognized position in a faith-based humanitarian service to apply for life experience credits.
